Exotic car rental in Sarasota is the short-term rental of a supercar or luxury vehicle delivered to a Sarasota address rather than collected from a rental counter. Luxury car rental and sports car rental in Sarasota describe the same service; the difference is which car leaves the Tampa lot. Exotics by the Bay operates a Tampa Bay fleet and drives south over the Sunshine Skyway to Siesta Key, Longboat Key, St Armands Circle, Lido Key, downtown Sarasota and SRQ for a flat $200 round-trip fee covering both delivery and collection.

The Fleet That Drives South

Luxury Car Rental in Sarasota, Priced by the Day

Pulled live from our Tampa Bay fleet, and every car below can be delivered to a Sarasota address, to a Siesta Key or Longboat Key rental, or curbside at SRQ. Rates are from-prices for a 24-hour rental: Brabus G800 and Rolls-Royce Dawn from $999 a day, McLaren GTS, Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder and Urus Vorsteiner from $1,199, Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge from $1,499. Across the wider fleet a Corvette C8 starts at $399 and a Lamborghini Revuelto at $5,999. The flat $200 round-trip Sarasota delivery is charged on top of the daily rate, not inside it.

Tampa Bay to Sarasota

How Exotic Car Delivery to Sarasota Works

We are a Tampa Bay fleet with no Sarasota storefront, so every Sarasota exotic car rental begins with a drive south. Here is what that costs, how long each leg takes, and which bridge we come in on.

$200 Round-Trip Delivery to Sarasota

One flat $200 covers both directions: delivery to your Sarasota address and collection at the end of the rental. It is not billed per mile and it is not billed twice. It is a delivery charge and sits on top of the car, not inside it — exotic car rental rates run separately, from $399 a day for a Corvette C8 to $1,499 for a Cullinan Black Badge on the cars shown above. Separately again, Sarasota County sits inside the standard mileage allowance, so driving around once you're here doesn't trigger an out-of-area charge. Delivery inside the immediate Tampa Bay area — Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties — and at Tampa International remains free.

Tampa (downtown) Sarasota (downtown)

~60 mi ~1 hr 05 min

I-275 south over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, then I-75 south into Sarasota. The Skyway is tolled in each direction and the delivery toll is ours. Add time between January and April, when the interstate fills with season traffic.

TPA Sarasota (downtown)

~57 mi ~1 hr 00 min

Straight out of Tampa International onto I-275 south, over the Skyway, then I-75. If you are flying into TPA and staying in Sarasota, say so at booking: delivery at Tampa International is free, so taking the car at the curb there and driving down yourself removes the $200. The trade is that the car goes back to Tampa at the end of the rental, so weigh that against the return leg on departure day.

Tampa SRQ (Sarasota Bradenton Intl)

~50 mi ~55 min

The same Skyway run, leaving I-75 at University Parkway for the airport. Handover is at the arrivals curb, timed to your flight rather than to a pickup slot.

Sarasota (downtown) St Armands Circle

~4 mi ~10 min

West over the John Ringling Causeway and you are into the circle. No toll on this leg. Four miles takes longer than four miles should on a season evening, so we build a little slack into an evening handover.

Sarasota (downtown) Lido Key

~5 mi ~12 min

Ringling Causeway, through St Armands Circle, then south onto Ben Franklin Drive along the Gulf side. The circle is the only slow part of it.

Sarasota (downtown) Siesta Key

~8 mi ~20 min

Siesta Drive bridge to the north or Stickney Point Road bridge to the south, whichever end of the key your address sits on. Both are drawbridges, and a boat opening is where the extra minutes come from.

Sarasota (downtown) Longboat Key

~9 mi ~25 min

Ringling Causeway to St Armands, then New Pass Bridge onto Gulf of Mexico Drive. Add time for addresses at the north end of the key; the quoted 25 minutes is to the south end.

Where We Deliver

Sarasota, Key by Key: Siesta, Longboat, Lido, St Armands

Where an exotic car rental actually ends up once it has crossed the Skyway, and what is worth knowing about each before you pick a handover spot.

Siesta Key

~20 min from downtown Sarasota

The quartz sand, and the reason most Sarasota rentals get booked in the first place. The village is narrow, speed-tabled and busy on foot, and most driveways there want a slow angled entry if the car sits low. The public beach lot fills early in season and is not somewhere to leave a supercar for the afternoon, so we hand the car over at your rental house, condo or resort rather than at the sand.

Check Siesta Key dates →

Longboat Key

~25 min from downtown Sarasota

Gulf of Mexico Drive is the only road on the key, posted 35 to 45 and genuinely enforced, which makes Longboat a cruise rather than a run. Most of the island is gated community or resort, so we need the community name and gate instructions at booking; without them the car ends up waiting at a gatehouse instead of in your driveway.

See the fleet →

St Armands Circle

~10 min from downtown Sarasota

Dinner, and being seen. Parking around the circle is angled, metered and mostly gone after 6pm between January and April; the Adams Drive garage is the reliable fallback and several of the restaurants valet. Circle traffic is slow by design, which is fine, because slow is when an exotic actually gets looked at. The driveway aprons around the circle are crowned, so low front lips go in at an angle.

Book an evening →

Lido Key

~12 min from downtown Sarasota

St Armands' beach: beachfront resorts, condo towers and a public beach with a pool. Deliveries here are property-specific rather than street-specific, because the entrances look alike from the road. Give us the resort or building name and we hand the car over under the porte-cochere. Sand blows across the beach-side lots, so covered or garage parking is worth asking your property for.

Downtown Sarasota / Main Street

The most common handover point

Main Street, the Palm Avenue galleries, the Opera House and Van Wezel. Downtown is one-way heavy and the public garages have posted clearance bars, so a Cullinan, Urus or G-Wagon wants a surface space or the top deck, and most of the hotels here valet anyway. This is where the majority of our Sarasota handovers happen: we meet you at your hotel or address, walk the car with you, and leave.

Send your dates →

SRQ (Sarasota Bradenton International)

~55 min from Tampa

SRQ is small, single-terminal and quick to walk out of, which makes a curbside handover straightforward: we meet you at arrivals once you have your bags, and the end-of-rental drop happens at the same curb. Send the flight number at booking so the car arrives when you do rather than circling. University Parkway puts the airport a couple of minutes from I-75, so SRQ is an easy start or finish to a Sarasota rental.

Sunshine Skyway Bridge

The 60 miles between our fleet and you

Every Sarasota delivery runs I-275 south across the Skyway: roughly four miles of causeway and main span, with the roadway cresting close to 200 feet above the water and the cable-stayed towers standing 430 feet over it. It is the reason the drive south is a pleasure rather than a chore. It is also why we quote a delivery window rather than a delivery minute, because the bridge restricts high-profile vehicles and closes outright in sustained high wind.

When People Book Sarasota

Why People Rent Exotic Cars in Sarasota

Siesta Key Beach Weeks

A house on the key for the week and something worth the driveway. Delivered the day you arrive, collected the day you leave, one flat $200 for both runs.

Sarasota Weddings

Ringling, Selby Gardens, the Longboat Key resorts. A Rolls-Royce or Bentley at the door for photographs, then back north the same night if that is all you need it for.

St Armands Dinner Nights

Valet at the circle is the entire point. Take the car for the evening and we hand it over at your downtown hotel beforehand.

Season Arrivals

January through April, when Sarasota fills up. Land at Tampa International and drive down yourself, or have the car waiting at your seasonal rental.

Straight Comparison

Sports Car Rental in Sarasota, Three Ways Compared

Three ways to get a sports car or an exotic in Sarasota, compared on the things that actually change your weekend. Categories, not companies.

Exotics by the Bay Peer-to-Peer Marketplaces Single-Location Local Shops
Delivery to Sarasota A flat $200, published up front, round-trip. Both the drive down and the drive back sit inside that one number, in season and out of it. Set per listing. Some owners deliver to Sarasota, some require pickup where the car is kept; the fee and the delivery radius vary from host to host. Usually pickup at their one location. Delivery outside their home city is quoted case by case where it is offered at all.
Fleet size The largest exotic and luxury fleet in Tampa Bay, all under one operator: Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, Corvette and SUVs. One car per listing. Comparing two models usually means messaging two unrelated owners and waiting on both. Typically a small local fleet, so the specific car you want may simply not be in that city that week.
Booking speed Most requests are answered the same day, against a published commitment to respond within 24 hours. The concierge line is the fastest route of all. Response time depends on the individual host, and a request can sit unanswered or be declined after you have planned around it. Generally business hours, so an evening or weekend inquiry waits until the shop opens.
Insurance handling One standard insurance review, run by our own team at the booking stage. Nothing about coverage gets decided in a Sarasota driveway. Coverage is bought per trip through the platform, and the deductible and limits change with whichever protection tier you pick. Varies by shop, commonly your own policy plus an in-house waiver arranged at the counter.
Minimum driver age Published as 25 and up with a valid license as the standard policy; drivers younger than that can still be considered case by case during the booking review. Set per host within the platform tiers, commonly 25 and over for high-value cars, often with a young-driver fee. Commonly 25 and over, and sometimes higher for supercars specifically.
Same-day availability Achievable when the fleet has the car free, because dispatching it is our own decision rather than a third party's. The drive south is the limiting factor, not finding someone to hand it over. Depends entirely on whether that one owner is free, near the car, and answering that day. Depends on what happens to be on their lot that morning.
Support hours A 24/7 concierge line during your rental window, answered at (813) 403-8213 whether you are on Siesta Key or halfway across the Skyway. Platform support runs around the clock, but the individual who actually holds the car and the keys may not. Usually shop hours, which is a longer wait if something comes up on a Saturday night.
Vehicle condition and mileage A commercially maintained rental fleet, walked through with you at delivery. Sarasota is inside the standard mileage area rather than an out-of-area destination; the $200 is a separate delivery charge. Privately owned cars, so condition, tires and the mileage cap are set by each individual owner. Varies by shop. Mileage is typically capped per day with a per-mile overage beyond it.
Daily rate Published on each car's own page rather than quoted on request. Exotic car rental rates run from $399 a day for a Corvette C8 to $5,999 for a Lamborghini Revuelto; the six cars above are $999 to $1,499. The flat $200 round-trip Sarasota delivery is the only thing added to it. Set by each owner per listing, with the platform's trip fee, protection tier and young-driver surcharges added at checkout rather than shown on the listing price. Commonly quoted on request rather than published, so comparing two cars means two phone calls before you see a number.

Comparisons describe common practice across each category, not any single company. Every claim in our column is stated elsewhere on this site.

Sarasota Delivery

Exotic Car Rental Sarasota, Answered

How much does exotic car delivery to Sarasota cost?

A flat $200, and it is round-trip: that one fee covers delivery to your Sarasota address and collection at the end of the rental. It is not charged per mile and it is not charged again for the return leg. Delivery inside the immediate Tampa Bay area — Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties — and at Tampa International remains free.

Which Sarasota areas do you deliver to?

Siesta Key, Longboat Key, St Armands Circle, Lido Key, downtown Sarasota and Main Street, Southside Village, Bird Key, and curbside at SRQ. We are a Tampa Bay fleet that delivers south, not a Sarasota storefront, so there is no office or showroom to visit: the car comes to you.

How far in advance should I book?

One to two weeks for weekends, holidays and the January to April season, when Sarasota is at its busiest. Same-day delivery is possible on confirmed bookings when the fleet allows; Sarasota adds roughly an hour of drive time, so a morning call has better odds than an afternoon one.

What is the minimum driver age, and how does insurance work?

25 or older with a valid driver license and our standard insurance review. The review is handled during booking, before the car leaves Tampa, so nothing is left to sort out in the driveway in Sarasota. Younger drivers may qualify with additional review during booking.

Can you deliver to SRQ airport?

Yes, curbside at Sarasota Bradenton International arrivals. We are not an on-airport rental concession, so there is no counter and no shuttle: send your flight number at booking and we meet you at the curb once you have your bags. End-of-rental drop happens at the same curb.

Can I drive the car outside Sarasota?

Yes. Sarasota, Manatee, Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco counties are all inside the standard mileage allowance, which is a separate thing from the $200 delivery fee. Longer runs such as Naples, Orlando or Miami can be arranged with advance notice.

How much does exotic car rental in Sarasota cost?

Daily rates start at $399 for a Corvette C8 and top out at $5,999 for a Lamborghini Revuelto. On the six cars shown above it is $999 for a Brabus G800 or a Rolls-Royce Dawn, $1,199 for a McLaren GTS, a Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder or a Urus Vorsteiner, and $1,499 for a Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge. Every figure is a from-price for a 24-hour rental. The Lamborghini, McLaren, Ferrari and Rolls-Royce end of the fleet runs $899 to $1,599 a day, and the flat $200 round-trip delivery to Sarasota is charged separately from the daily rate.
