Exotic Car Rental Across Tampa Bay: Clearwater, St Petersburg and Sarasota

The bay is wider than people expect. Tampa to Clearwater is about 40 minutes without traffic, Tampa to Sarasota closer to an hour. Most people searching for exotic car rental Tampa side are not actually staying in Tampa, and driving in to collect a car wastes half a day. It does not have to work that way.

Delivery, not pickup

Every car in the fleet delivers across the Tampa Bay region at no separate pickup trip on your side. That covers downtown Tampa, Hyde Park, Channelside, South Tampa, Westshore, Tampa International, St Petersburg, Clearwater and Sarasota. The car meets you where you are staying.

St Petersburg

The most common non-Tampa drop we run. St Pete gets a different rental than downtown Tampa does, because the driving is different: the Gulf side is about the causeways and the waterfront rather than the interstate.

Convertibles win here. The Corvette C8 Spyder at $399.99 and the Audi R8 Spyder at $799 both make more sense on a Gulf beach road than anything with a fixed roof. Mercedes and BMW are the two most requested badges on this side of the bay.

Clearwater

Clearwater Beach is the shortest genuinely great drive in the region. Take the Courtney Campbell Causeway across the water with the roof down and the whole appeal of renting a sports car for a day makes sense in about eight minutes.

Four hour rentals fit Clearwater well. Drive out in the afternoon, dinner on the beach, back that evening, and you pay $200 for the C8 rather than a full day rate for a car that sits in a hotel lot overnight.

Sarasota

Sarasota is the longest run we deliver and it attracts a different booking. Longer rentals, more Bentley and Rolls-Royce, more weddings. St Armands Circle and Lido Key are the reason, and the drive down the Skyway Bridge is worth doing in something with power.

Rates do not change by city. Drivers must be 25 or older with a valid license and a standard insurance review. Cars leave full and return full. Delivery windows run outside business hours, including late arrivals.
