Exotic Car Rental at Tampa International Airport: How TPA Delivery Works
Share
Most people searching for an exotic car rental Tampa visitors actually use are landing at Tampa International, not driving in. That changes the logistics. You are not walking to a counter, you are meeting a car. Here is exactly how airport delivery works, what it costs, and what to have ready.
There is no rental counter at TPA
We are not in the rental car center. That is the first thing to understand, and it is a feature rather than a limitation. The rental car facility at Tampa International sits across the SkyConnect people mover from the main terminal, and getting through it with a queue in front of you can take forty minutes on a bad afternoon.
Instead, the car meets you curbside. You land, you collect bags, you walk out to arrivals, and the car is there with a member of our team standing next to it. Paperwork is done before you land. Typical handover takes about ten minutes, most of which is walking you around the car on video.
What to send us before you fly
- Flight number and arrival time. We track the flight, so a delay does not cost you the car.
- Driver license for every person who will drive.
- Proof of insurance for our standard review.
- Terminal side. TPA has Airside A through F feeding one main terminal, so curbside arrivals is the meeting point regardless of airline.
Drivers must be 25 or older. That is not a policy we can flex on a per-booking basis, so it is worth confirming before you book flights around a car.
Late arrivals and red-eyes
Delivery runs outside standard business hours. If your flight lands at 11:40pm, the car is there at 11:40pm. This is the single most common reason people call us instead of using a counter operation, because the counters at TPA close and a delayed flight can mean no car until morning.
What it costs
Delivery to Tampa International is quoted with the car rather than billed as a separate surprise line item. The fleet floor sits at $399.99 per day for a Corvette C8 Spyder, and the four-hour option starts at $200 for the same car, which is worth knowing if you are in town for a single evening.
| Car | Per day | 4 hours |
|---|---|---|
| 2023 Corvette C8 Spyder | $399.99 | $200.00 |
| 2020 Shelby GT500 | $499.00 | $249.50 |
| 2024 Corvette Z06 | $699.00 | $349.50 |
| 2023 Porsche GT4 RS | $899.00 | $449.50 |
| 2025 McLaren GTS | $999.00 | $599.00 |
| 2022 Lamborghini Huracan EVO | $1,199.00 | $599.00 |
Rates are quoted on dates, because availability drives price more than anything else in this business.
The return
Same process reversed. Leave the car at departures, or have us collect it from your hotel the night before if you have an early flight and would rather take a car service. There is no shuttle, no fuel line, no queue.
Where else we deliver
Tampa International is the most requested drop, but the same delivery runs to downtown Tampa, Hyde Park, Channelside, South Tampa, Westshore, St Petersburg, Clearwater and Sarasota. If you are flying into TPA and staying on the beaches, the car can meet you at the hotel instead of the airport.
See the current fleet on our Tampa airport rental page, or call the Tampa concierge at (813) 403-8213 with your flight number for a same-day quote.
